At Accountability for Life (AFL), we are dedicated to empowering youth through a unique blend of athletic training, academic support, life skills development, and mental health resources. Our programs are designed to nurture the whole person, equipping young people—particularly those from underserved communities—with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed in sports, school, and life. Through partnerships with families, schools, and community organizations, AFL fosters resilience, leadership, and personal growth, ensuring every participant is prepared to reach their full potential.

  • We currently serve approximately 135 individuals ranging from grades 3 through college seniors. At this point, our programming primarily supports boys, but we have exciting plans to expand and introduce female-centric programs in the near future.

  • The desired outcome is to develop well-rounded young individuals who excel academically, athletically, and personally. We aim to equip youth with essential life skills, strong character, and a sense of accountability that empowers them to overcome challenges, make positive choices, and pursue their goals with confidence—both on and off the field. Ultimately, we want every participant to graduate prepared for success in college, career, and life.

  • There are many ways to support AFL and make a lasting impact on the lives of our youth:

  • In five years, we envision AFL growing into a leading youth development organization recognized regionally for its impact in empowering young athletes and students. We aim to expand our programs to serve a larger and more diverse population—including new female-centric initiatives—while strengthening partnerships with schools, colleges, and community organizations. Our goal is to provide even more comprehensive support in academics, athletics, life skills, and mental health, helping hundreds of youth build confident, successful futures both on and off the field.
